Dear Cheyenne,
Review of your academic record indicates that you are failing to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and are on financial aid probation for your next term of enrollment. Financial aid probation means that you can continue to receive your financial aid. However, if your academic record does not fully comply with the requirements of the SAP policy after your probationary term or you are not successfully following your academic success plan contract, you will lose your federal aid eligibility.
In order to receive and maintain financial aid eligibility, you must complete 67% of course work in order to graduate within 180 attempted credit hours. You must also maintain a cumulative 2.0 UAB GPA. You may review your current GPA and completion rate by visiting "My Financial Aid" from your student profile in BlazerNET.
Your success is extremely important to us, and we invite you to visit or contact the University Academic Success Center to learn about ways that we may support your academic success.
If you have not applied for federal aid, please know that your SAP status will impact eligibility for financial aid in the future.
If you have questions, please contact One Stop Student Services at onestop@uab.edu or 205-934-4300.
