Dear Cheyenne,
As you near the end of your first semester, I’m sure that you have found that finals are already upon us! Unlike periodic tests throughout the semester, final exams draw upon your knowledge base developed over the course of an entire semester. For some students, this can be a stressful time of year.
It is important for you to know that all of us at UAB are here to support you and that we have the resources to help you be successful at UAB. So if you need help preparing for your exams, please remember that the Vulcan Materials Academic Success Center provides a variety of academic support services. Also, if you would like to talk to someone about your experiences this semester, contact the Office of First Year Experience. Each of these on-campus departments can be reached at 934-8184.
