UAB Application for Undergraduate Admissions

Current high school senior or one who has graduated from high school/earned GED
and has never enrolled in a college or university (excluding dual enrollment, summer bridge, etc.)
Currently or previously enrolled college students who have earned 24 or more
transferable semester hours at the time of application.
This does not include current high school students who have earned dual enrollment credit.
Currently or previously enrolled in a college or university who has earned fewer
than 24 transferable semester hours.
This does not include current high school students who have earned dual enrollment credit.
Applicants who have already earned a 4-year baccalaureate degree and wish to seek another degree or certificate.
Former UAB student who has enrolled as an undergraduate student in the past.


High school sophomores, juniors or seniors who wish to take courses at UAB while still in high school;
student earns both college and high school credit. The Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit option
is available only to those students whose high schools have a formal Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit
agreement with UAB. Dual Enrollment Information
High school sophomores, juniors, or seniors who wish to take courses at UAB while still in high school.
This option may be appropriate for students whose high schools do not participate in the
Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit program. Concurrent Enrollment Information
Applicant with a baccalaureate degree who wishes to meet prerequisites for advanced programs
or satisfy requirements for professional certification.
Applicants 25 years of age or older seeking personal enrichment or career enhancement.
Applicants who wish to transfer credit earned at UAB back to their home institution
where they are enrolled as a full-time student.
