This is an individualized course of directed readings and activities for advanced students of Japanese language and culture. Course design is determined by the instructor and student and will be tailored to the needs of the student. The goal of the course is to increase general literacy in and knowledge of the Japanese language and culture. Intermediate-high or Advanced-low proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking Japanese is the targeted outcome.
